Michelle Buchanan – Violin
I started playing violin in 5th grade. I chose the violin because I loved the sounds that were produced from the instrument and my cousin also played violin. Ever since then, music has been my passion and I became a music educator. About 2-3 years ago I joined the Summerville Orchestra because I wanted to continue being a part of an ensemble that brings beautiful music to audiences. Outside of playing violin, I have 4 beautiful children. When I am able to have some free time, I also enjoy to crochet, knit, and diamond paint.

Comencé a tocar el violín en quinto grado. Elegí el violín porque me encantaban los sonidos que producía el instrumento y mi primo también tocaba el violín. Desde entonces, la música ha sido mi pasión y me convertí en educadora musical. Hace aproximadamente 2-3 años me uní a la Orquesta de Summerville porque quería seguir siendo parte de un conjunto que lleva música hermosa al público. Fuera de tocar el violín, tengo 4 hermosos hijos. Cuando tengo algo de tiempo libre, también disfruto tejer a crochet, hacer punto y pintar con diamantes.
